Welcome to oikko.com.bd, an online marketplace designed to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Bangladesh. By accessing or using oikko.com.bd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including any policies, guidelines, and other information linked or referenced herein (collectively, the “Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access, register with, or use oikko.com.bd.

oikko.com.bd is owned and operated by OIKKO FOUNDATION, an e-commerce marketplace. (Trade License Number:191059)

These Terms apply to all users of oikko.com.bd, including buyers, vendors, entrepreneurs, and visitors, unless otherwise stated.

1. User Eligibility

Age Requirement:

Users must be at least 18 years of age to register as a vendor or seller on oikko.com.bd. Individuals under 18 may browse or purchase products only with the involvement, supervision, and authorization of a parent, guardian, or other legally responsible adult.

Legal Status of Vendors:

Vendors and entrepreneurs must provide accurate information about their business and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and platform policies. Where applicable, vendors must provide valid business or identity documentation for verification.

Account Accuracy:

All users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering and must keep their information updated throughout their use of the platform.

 Responsible Use:

Users agree to use oikko.com.bd responsibly and lawfully and must not engage in activities that violate applicable laws, these Terms, platform policies, or the rights of third parties.

2. Account Registration & Security

Account Creation:

Certain services and features of Oikko.com.bd may require users to create an account. Users agree to provide truthful, accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating and maintaining an account.

Account Confidentiality:

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials, including usernames, passwords, PINs, or other authentication information.

Users must notify Oikko.com.bd promptly if they suspect unauthorized access to or use of their account or believe that their account credentials have been compromised.

Platform Rights:

oikko.com.bd reserves the right, where reasonably necessary and in accordance with applicable law and these Terms, to suspend, restrict, terminate, or otherwise limit an account or access to any part of the platform.

oikko.com.bd may also request users to update or verify account information and may remove or modify content that violates these Terms or applicable platform policies.

Account Misuse:

Users are responsible for activities carried out through their accounts to the extent permitted by applicable law. Users must not knowingly permit their accounts to be used for fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized activities.

3. Product Listings and Vendor Responsibilities

·         All products listed on Oikko.com.bd must be lawful, genuine, safe, and accurately described.

·         Vendors are responsible for ensuring that product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, availability, warranties, and other information provided in their listings are accurate and not misleading.

·         Prohibited products include counterfeit goods, illegal substances, unlawful products, and restricted goods prohibited under applicable laws or oikko.com.bd policies.

·         Vendors must ensure that their products comply with applicable safety, labeling, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

·         oikko.com.bd reserves the right to review, remove, restrict, or modify any listing that it reasonably believes is misleading, unlawful, unsafe, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms or applicable platform policies.

4. Buying on Oikko.com.bd

·         Buyers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, specifications, prices, seller information, delivery details, and applicable return and refund conditions before placing an order.

·         Placing an order constitutes the buyer’s request and commitment to purchase the selected product, subject to seller acceptance, product availability, payment confirmation, and these Terms.

·         Buyers must provide accurate and complete information during checkout, including delivery and contact information.

·         Buyers are responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.

5. Pricing, Payment & Fees

·         Product prices displayed on Oikko.com.bd are determined by the respective vendors unless otherwise stated.

·         Applicable taxes, delivery charges, fees, or other costs will be displayed at checkout where applicable.

·         Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways or other payment methods supported by oikko.com.bd.

·         Users are responsible for providing accurate payment information and complying with the terms and conditions of their selected payment method.

·         Prices and product availability may change from time to time. Oikko.com.bd makes reasonable efforts to ensure that displayed prices are accurate.

·         If a pricing or listing error is identified before an order is dispatched, oikko.com.bd or the relevant vendor may contact the buyer and provide the option to proceed with the corrected price or cancel the order, subject to applicable policies.

·         oikko.com.bd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service, feature, or part of the platform where reasonably necessary.

·         For certain products, including products with higher prices, customized products, or products requiring special arrangements, oikko.com.bd or the relevant vendor may require full or partial advance payment. Any such requirement will be communicated to the buyer before payment.

6. Shipping, Delivery & Fulfillment

·         Vendors are responsible for preparing and handing over orders within the applicable processing timeframe and for ensuring that products are appropriately packaged for delivery.

·         oikko.com.bd’s applicable *Shipping & Delivery Policy* governs delivery timeframes, shipping charges, tracking, delivery attempts, and related procedures.

·         Vendors must promptly notify oikko.com.bd of any foreseeable or unforeseen fulfillment delays.

·         oikko.com.bd may work with third-party courier and logistics providers to facilitate delivery.

·         Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information and for being available to receive orders where required.

·         Delivery-related issues should be reported to oikko.com.bd in accordance with the applicable Shipping & Delivery Policy.

7. Returns, Refunds & Disputes

·         Returns and refunds are governed by oikko.com.bd’s applicable Return Policy, Refund Policy, and related platform policies.

·         Buyers and vendors must comply with the applicable eligibility requirements, procedures, deadlines, and documentation requirements.

·         In the event of a dispute between a buyer and a vendor, oikko.com.bd may review the matter and assist the parties in reaching a fair resolution.

·         oikko.com.bd does not guarantee a particular outcome in any dispute.

·         Users agree to cooperate and provide relevant information or evidence reasonably required to review and resolve a dispute.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

·         Vendors must ensure that their products, product listings, images, descriptions, trademarks, and other materials do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

·         Unless otherwise stated, the oikko.com.bd platform and its original content, including logos, text, graphics, designs, images, videos, software, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to oikko.com.bd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

·         Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or otherwise use oikko.com.bd’s protected content without prior written permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

·         oikko.com.bd may remove or restrict content that it reasonably believes infringes intellectual property rights or violates applicable laws or platform policies.

9. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

·         Engage in fraud, deception, abuse, or misrepresentation.

·         Sell, promote, or distribute illegal, counterfeit, unsafe, or prohibited products.

oikko.com.bd reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including restricting or terminating accounts and, where required or permitted by law, reporting unlawful activities to the relevant authorities.

10. Platform Role & Limitation of Liability

·         oikko.com.bd operates as an online marketplace that facilitates interactions and transactions between buyers and vendors.

·         Vendors are primarily responsible for the accuracy of their product listings, product quality, legality, authenticity, safety, warranties, and fulfillment obligations.

·         oikko.com.bd does not manufacture most products listed by independent vendors and cannot independently guarantee every product’s quality, authenticity, safety, or suitability.

·         oikko.com.bd makes reasonable efforts to maintain a reliable and secure platform but does not guarantee that all user-provided information, product listings, or platform content will always be complete, accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

·         To the extent permitted by applicable law, oikko.com.bd will not be responsible for losses or damages arising solely from circumstances beyond its reasonable control or from the acts or omissions of third-party service providers.

·         Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Suspension and Termination

oikko.com.bd may suspend, restrict, or terminate a user’s account or access to the platform where there is a reasonable basis to believe that the user has:

·         Violated these Terms or applicable platform policies.

·         Provided false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

·         Engaged in unlawful or prohibited activities.

·         Misused the platform or another user’s account.

·         Created a security, legal, or operational risk for oikko.com.bd or its users.
